Picked up a nail or a screw? If it's safe and legal to repair, we'll plug and patch it properly to British Standard — a good bit cheaper than a new tyre.
Repair before you replace
Not every puncture means a new tyre. If the damage is in the middle tread area and there's decent life left in the tyre, we can do a proper combination repair — a plug through the hole and a patch on the inside — that's every bit as safe as the tyre was before.
We always take the tyre off the rim and check it inside first. If it's been driven on flat, or the damage is in the sidewall or shoulder, we'll tell you straight that it needs replacing. We're not going to send you off on something that isn't safe just to make a quick repair.
